This lovely family of three stole my heart from the very beginning.
From morning full of laugh and joy at Gemma parents house in Watford until their beautiful reception at the Berkhamsted Town Hall. I have arrived nice and early to meet the Queen on the day and the prep was already under way. Straight after prosecco o’clock we had everyone ready for the I do’s!
We were so lucky to have dry and sunny day – weather in April is always unexpected. We all walked up to the Town Hall, excited for the upcoming events. Matt was already waiting at the alter, relaxed as Gemma was soon to become Mrs Holmes! The ceremony was beautiful, their 2 years old daughter wouldn’t let them go through it on their own – she’s also a part of this! They have now joined the matrimony and the newly Mr and Mrs were ready to celebrate this event to the fullest!
After delicious meal and wonderful speeches where FOB, Best Man and the Groom have shared lots of stories from Matt and Gemmas past, how did it actually happen that these two ended as a couple. Gemma’s dad have told us that he didn’t exactly make it easy for Matthew haha, you did make it in the end! Not to mention their stag do! According to the best man it was truly eventful! But don’t worry, we will not be spreading that. Your secret is safely locked!
As if at all wasn’t enough, for the afterparty they have booked a live band. Playing best rocky tunes that took everyones feet straight to the dance floor. Thankfully all the ladies had their part shoes on! Gemma, Matt and their lovely family and friends lived this day to the absolute maximum and rocked Berkhamsted to its fullest. Thank you for trusting me with your Big Day!
