Every girls dream is to wear the white dress, walk down the aisle and finally marry their prince. Monica and Renan were no different and their London wedding was nothing else but beautiful.
From the moment I have walked into Monicas house I knew that day will be special! Imagine 8 stunning women and 2 cutest girls running around, making sure every little detail is perfect and ready to make its way down to the church. It was lovely and full of fun to spend my morning with all those ladies. While Monica was having her dress tightened she said “do me up like the did it in Titanic” – defiantly made me giggle haha :). If I had to pick 1 moment from my time there this would be it!
Once everyone was ready, It was time for me to head to the church. St Francis de Sales R.C church looked magical! Fantastic interior with really high celling and room for hundreds of people. Monica and Renan decided to perform their marriage vows in front of their family and close friends; and later celebrated with confetti showers.
I guess you are thinking “where were the couples shots taken?”. Well, that’s just one interesting story haha! While I was on my way to the reception venue, I got a call from Monica, asking to meet them at Alexandra Palace in north London. Without any future questions I’ve put my foot down and within 10 minutes I was ready for it. First we did group shots, a few bridal portraits and then I had the newly weds all to myself.
Reception also didn’t fail to surprise! Starting from cake topers to be the exact replica of Monica and Renan to details like columbian music. Her dad did an amazing speech in Spanish; I assume he did as Monica was in tears and I only know 1 word in Spanish (Hola!). Their dance was also emotional but it only meant one thing… salsa time!
“I had the perfect vision of what I wanted my London wedding photographs to look like, or so I thought, and then Kay photographs the whole day and presents me with pictures I could have never imagined. The photographs were exquisite, I can’t thank thank her enough I am beyond grateful”
