Over two hours drive and 120 miles journey but nothing has stopped me getting to Bristol’s most epic wedding!
Saturday morning, 29th July 2017
Weather had no mercy; it was a cold and rather wet morning. Normally people would be at least slightly upset but not this bridal party! I’ve met those 5 beautiful ladies in one of the Paintworks apartments that was also conveniently close to the vending venue. Literately walking distance within the premises. As I’ve walked in, the girls were full of happiness and joy, laughing about things and telling each other silly stories. Paige’s make up artist aka Maria Lucas (based in Bristol) was working her magic to name sure everyone looked perfect!
At first none of us knew what was Paige going to wear. As a medial assistant in Royal Navy we could only speculate whether it would be her gala uniform or wedding gown. I went upstairs working my way around (as usual!) and I found his beautiful and silky wedding dress along with three sparkly bridesmaid dresses! Instant smile right there!! Her dad hasn’t seen what she bought so when she revealed her outfit to everyone, they just couldn’t help themselves but to share their emotions!
The ceremony and reception were hold at The Paintworks event space. Great location for creative souls. Paige and Ryan went for the 1920s look and feel. Ladies were dressed in flapper styled dresses with sparkly head pieces. Gents however wore waist coats with mostly blue shirts with sleeve bands. I loved it! Even Ryan got changed to his outfit after their civil ceremony where he wore his gala uniform. And to top it all off after their first dance, they had a singer to keep everyone in the Great Gatsby vibe.
Hope you guys enjoyed every moment of your wedding just like i did! It slightly felt as if Peaky Blinders came to visit Bristol!
